Recommended prerequisites
The students should have basic knowledge of digital image processing and word processing.
Course contents
In this course, students will work on practical problems that give a fruitful interplay between theoretical knowledge, professional development and reflection. The course emphasizes the exploration and use of materials in working with architecture-related tasks. ICT is used both in creative work and the dissemination and presentation of their own work. A central topic is knowledge about contemporary architecture.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will:

be able to discuss key aspects of contemporary architecture and see these in relation to architectural history

be able to analyze architecture and be able to apply this in their own work

be able to explore aesthetic qualities in various materials and techniques in their own creative work

reflect on the use of aesthetic means in their own artistic expression

be able to plan and implement an idea-based project with an emphasis on the creative work

be able to explain important trends in contemporary architecture

To take the exam, the student should have

Individual exhibition and presentation of selected works from the semester with accompanying documentation / folders.
