Basic characteristics in European and Norwegian history during the period from ca. 1750-1900.
Learning outcomes
Upon course completion students will - have acquired an understanding of the time period as well as general insight into economic, political and cultural developmental characteristics of European and Norwegian history during the period from ca.1750 to 1900

Passing mark on preliminary examination.
Teaching methods
Lectures. Practice for teacherstudents. The workload is estimated to 270 hours.

One 6-hour individual written examination. Differentiated marks.
The final examination will be held during the period of study and midterm examinations.
