These aspects are studied from a contrastive perspective, enhanced by translation exercises.
Learning outcomes
After completion of the course, students should be able to

understand techniques for preserving textual structure and function in translation

use corpora and electronic dictionaries in translation and text production
Examination requirements
Six obligatory assignments must be submitted and passed.
Teaching methods
Teaching will be in the form of lectures and student work, group work, use of language technology tools. Workload: 270 hours.
Evaluation
The study programme manager decides, in cooperation with student representative, the form of student evaluation and whether the course is to have a midway or end of course evaluation in accordance with the quality system for education, chapter 4.1.

Two-day individual home exam. Graded assessment.
