Prerequisites

60 credits in drama subjects. 

Course contents

The student should demonstrate independent exploration and reflection in a project assignment, which is based on documentation of their performance. Length 15-20 pages. As an introduction to the course, there will be lectures on research methods and scientific theory.

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the course, students will:

  • be familiar with research and development in the subject area

  • have knowledge about research methods in the subject and gained expreience with their own research and development work

  • be able to explore and reflect upon artistic activities through the application of relevant theories

Examination requirements

Theatre production assessed as passed.

At least 3 hours of supervision is compulsory.

 

Evaluation

The study programme manager, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1. Information about evaluation method for the course will be posted on Canvas.

Assessment methods and criteria

 - Written assignment.

Assessed on the scale of A-F (with A as the highest level and F as fail).
