Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student is expected to:
· Understand the subject's correlation to the other courses in the civil engineering program.
· understand the importance of operation and maintenance of concrete structures
· understand and evaluate different degradation mechanisms in concrete structures
· develop and execute a plan for a Condition survey
· know and understand the various methods for repairing concrete and assess and understand the consequences of various strategies for restoration
· know the framework within the field of study
Teaching methods
Lectures, exercises and laboratory exercises.
Estimated work load for the average student is 27 hours per credit.
Evaluation
