By being a part of the buddy team, you're doing an incredibly important job, gaining valuable experiences, and forging new friendships!
The different positions are announced after the start of the academic year. Buddy team leaders are appointed in September and are involved in the appointment of the other team members in October/November. There is one buddy team in Kristiansand and one in Grimstad. The teams collaborate with each other and with UiA.

Buddy team objective and responsibilities
The main objective of the buddy programme is to help new students at UiA get to know each other and become acquainted with the campus and town.
Key responsibilities:
- Recruit buddies who welcome all new students
- Organise new students into buddy groups at semester start
- Provide training and guidance to buddies on their role and responsibilities
- Facilitate various events and activities to help students get to know each other
