Purpose
The project aims to develop, test and evaluate new ways of organising municipal practice placements in the bachelor's degree in nursing. The new practice placement model is mainly focused on technology support and exploring digital options in the practice settings. TOPP-N (Technology Optimized Practice Process - Nursing) is a tutorial and assessment tool designed for use in the clinical practice component in the nursing degree programme. TOPP-N will be tested and further developed in the project, and the implementation of TOPP-N will be facilitated in practice placements in the municipalities.
Project description
The project will also develop and implement digital tutorial courses for practice supervisors in the field of nursing. The course is worth 10 credits at master's level. The University of Agder (UiA) and Lovisenberg Diaconal University College (LDUC), as well as the municipalities of Arendal, Kristiansand, Åmli and Flekkefjord are participating in the project. The project has a project group and a reference group and is mainly funded by the Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir).
