The podcast is hosted by Dr Rangan Chatterjee, a renowned doctor in the UK, and attracts one and a half million viewers each week. Seiler was invited to talk about what regular people can learn from the training methods of top athletes.

“They train so much more than the average person, but because they train so much more, because they have such clear performance goals, they have learned the art of the long game. They are in it over years […] so they have to figure out how do I create a sustainable programme that helps me to reach the highest levels of adaptation, the highest levels of performance and stay healthy. Well, that’s kind of what we all are trying to do,” Seiler said during the podcast.

Seiler, who is a professor at the Department of Sport Science and Physical Education at the University of Agder, has spent decades studying elite athletes. The podcast covers a range of topics, such as the 80/20 training rule, stress, burnout, and Seiler’s own model for distributing training intensity into green, yellow, and red zones.

The episode has already garnered over 100,000 views.
