Why are you running for election?

- For nearly 10 years, I have been affiliated with the university, both as a student and as a temporary employee. This experience has given me a deep understanding of the university from both the perspective of students and employees, with both positive and negative experiences. I wish to contribute my experiences to help the university continue to develop in a positive direction.

What are the 3 most important issues you want to address if you are elected to the University Board?

1. Completion Rate

- A significant portion of temporary employees are Ph.D. students, postdoctoral fellows, or scientific staff. The uncertainty is often high as contracts approach their end, and for example, the Ph.D. thesis or project work needs to be completed, while simultaneously seeking a new position. In the worst-case scenario, the work is carried over into a new job if it is not completed on time. I aim to work towards finding solutions to increase the completion rate within the stipulated time, and thus reduce the burden on temporary employees.

2. Co-Creation

- I believe in the strength of collaboration, especially in research. Although Ph.D. students and postdoctoral fellows typically engage in individual work, many of us share similar research fields and goals. Therefore, I believe it is a good idea to explore the possibility of collaborative work to achieve better results. Through strengthening collaboration, we can share resources, knowledge, and experiences, thereby uplifting each other and contributing to greater success in our research projects.

3. Visibility

- Throughout my experience, I have perceived the university as a very safe and inclusive institution and employer. As a young university, I believe its qualities can be further highlighted to attract more students. I want to use my experiences to help solidify the university's position in society and attract more of the future's students.

What qualities/skills do you have that will make your colleagues vote for you?

- I have an interdisciplinary background as both an economist and an engineer, with several years of work experience. This, combined with a good understanding of the university, positions me as a valuable candidate. My interest in showcasing the university's strengths and increasing collaboration among employees will contribute to promoting our institution and strengthening our community.
