The School of Business and Law was re-accredited in 2023/24 by the American organization Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, AACSB.

Our accreditation ensures you as a student:

  • An internationally recognized education and teaching
  • A constant focus on quality work at all levels
  • Possibility of exchange to other accredited institutions around the world
  • A diploma with greater weight. We are one of only two business schools in Norway with this accreditation

For you as an employer, accreditation means:

  • Graduated candidates of international quality
  • Continuous updating of the content of the courses
  • An external certification of our economic-administrative education.

What is AACSB?

AACSB is a worldwide organization, with approx. 840 accredited members from 54 countries. Globally, around 18,000 institutions offer an economics education at bachelor's level or higher.

To be accredited by AACSB requires a thorough external review of business schools' teaching, research, funding, collaboration with industry and doctoral programs, as well as a number of other requirements. In addition to extensive documentation of The School of Business and Law´s activities, there have also been two visits from AACSB to make sure that things are as the School of Business says. The faculty has been thoroughly reviewed to ensure quality in all aspects..

Reports

The School of Business and Law wants to ensure quality that our activities have positive ripple effects for our partners. We publish annual impact reports (Impact Assessment) to document the results.
