We also offer sports in the teacher education programme and physical education in the primary school teacher education, as well as physical activity and outdoor subjects as part of the kindergarten teacher education. The department also includes sports subjects as part of the Academic E-sports bachelor programme. In addition, a range of continuing and further education opportunities is offered.

Through collaboration with schools, sports clubs, and research environments, our students are offered relevant internships and project opportunities, which strengthen their professional competence.

Our research work ranges from physiological studies to educational and psychological aspects of sports, outdoor activities, physical education, play, and physical activity. Through active participation in research projects, our master students gain relevant firsthand experience and knowledge that enriches their academic and professional development.
