We started day one with a Mini Research Grand Prix were the new PhD research fellows in cohort 2 gave a short introduction of their projects. It was nice to meet the new fellows and learn more about their projects.

We continued with a plenary about “What is a theoretical framework in a PhD thesis and how to make use of it” with Barbara Jaworski and a plenary about “Demonstrating doctorateness in your thesis – what happens in the ‘Kappe” with Kristin Solli.

On day 2 we started with a plenary “Writing for publication – an editors’ perspective” with Tone Kvernbekk on Zoom.

We concluded the seminar with group work for PhD fellows and supervisors. The PhD fellows were asked to formulate aims and research questions for their thesis/article and got feedback from the other PhD fellows and the supervisors in the group.
