About the Graduate School

Vision and goals

Primary objective is to nurture the development of research competence among PhD fellows in mathematics education and science education and support their development to become excellent researchers.

Secondary objectives is to promote excellence in mathematics and science education research and increase the knowledge bases of what constitutes excellent teaching and learning in mathematics and science, from kindergarten through school and university, and life-long learning to nurture and develop the network of supervisors and PhD fellows in mathematics and science education to reach its potential to support synergy between the fields.- to facilitate the succesful completion of doctoral research for the graduates to take on positions as teacher educators and researchers in mathematics and science, as mathematics and science teachers in school, positions within governmental strategic centres, government agencies and school administrations, teaching and researching STEM disciplines.
