Kahsu has obtained his PhD from Monash university,Australia in 2021. He has been working in Academics and research since 2010 at Mekelle University onEthiopia. He has published 21 research areticles in reputable journals, of the these four articles are published from the thesis titled determinants of exclusive breastfeeding in North Ethiopia. He has supervised seven MSc students at Mekelle University.
