I have 24 years of experience from the process Industry before joining NORCE in 2019. 22 years at the same Site, the last years as Site Director at GE Healthcare Lindesnes (350 employees), providing the Active Ingredient for XRay Contrast Media, delivering 40% of the world marked. The last 2 years as Plant Director for REC (earlier Elkem) Solar Norway in Kristiansand (200 employees), producing silicon for solar panels, with the most energy effective and the lowest carbon footprint in the world. My background is MSc (Siv.ing) and PhD (Dr.ing) in Physics from NTNU. Several board roles, currently as Chairman of the Eyde Cluster (more than 60 companies in process industry) and member of “Representantskapet Norsk Industri NHO”. Earlier board examples: University of Agder, Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), “Nasjonale programstyret for VRI” in The Research Council of Norway and NFKL – a national organization for quality and management in Norway. Married to Glenn for more than 30 years, and we have two children and two grandchildren.
