Areas of responsibility

Medin is trained as a clinical nutritionist (2007) and obtained her doctoral degree in dietary research from the University of Oslo in 2018. Since 2019, she has been employed as an associate professor in nutrition at the University of Agder. Medin is the deputy leader for the priority research centre for Lifecourse Nutrition and primarily conducts research within the field of public health nutrition.

  • Diet, food and eating habits, with a particular focus on children, adolescents, and young adults
  • Plant-based and sustainable eating habits, including vegan, lacto-ovo vegetarian, pescatarian, and flexitarian diets

  • Food and nutrition literacy
