Areas of responsibility

Aima Khan is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Working Life and Innovation, University of Agder (UiA). She has a doctorate in system dynamics (with focus on corporate finance) from University of Bergen (UiB). She has solid background in the field of Finance (MS in Management Science and MBA with specialization in Finance). She has teaching experience in accounting and finance at bachelor's and master's level. She also has some supervision experience.

Her professional interests are mainly about financial analysis specifically corporate finance, business valuation, and financial policies analysis with focus on decision making and policy analysis. She has published her work in Journals such as System Dynamics Review and Systems Research and Behavioral Science. 

Aima is working as part of the Dig CBA Project (Responsible use of cash-based assistance). The project focuses on supporting the use of technology to deliver humanitarian assistance in refugee crisis. She is using system dynamics (SD) and multicriteria decision analysis (MCDA) for her research.
