CIEMlab is a “living lab” created for conducting research and innovation in future crisis management technology. A living lab is a user-centered experimental environment where users are actively engaged in the exploration, design and testing. CIEMlab can offer an experimental control room integrated with a platform for big data enabling collaboration and information sharing. The Lab has access to a broad portfolio of technological solutions that may be used in training and testing of crisis management. CIEMlab cooperates with authorities, emergency agencies, NGOs and private business to develop knowledge sharing and innovation between academia and practitioners.
