Organisation

The Centre for e-health is led as of 2024 by a steering group consisting of the dean's council from the four collaborating faculties: the Faculty of Health and Sports Sciences, the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Engineering and Science, and the Faculty of Humanities and Education. In the period 2018-2023, there was also collaboration with the School of Business and Law at UiA.

The centre has an academic leader, an administrative leader, and administrative support. The position of academic leader is intended to rotate among the various involved faculties.

All three positions are crucial for maintaining the high level of activity internally, locally, nationally, and internationally.

The Faculty of Health and Sports Sciences acts as the host institution for the centre and has administrative responsibility, where organisational leadership falls under the faculty's jurisdiction. The centre has a core group consisting of the centre's leadership and one researcher from each faculty, as well as an external researcher. These researchers serve as liaisons for other researchers at their respective faculties who are affiliated with the centre through their R&D activities.

Some doctoral candidates from various faculties are also affiliated with the centre through strategic funding.

The centre also has a professional council for research and innovation in e-health.
