CeDiT collaboration opportunities

CeDiT researchers span many faculties and departments. Social sciences is broadly represented in CeDiT with researchers from political science, sociology, social work, information systems and global development, compromising all four departments at the Faculty of Social Sciences. In addition, we have researchers actively involved from the Faculty for Arts (music business) and Faculty for Humanities and Pedagogy (didactics). CeDiT offers arenas for contemplating “grand ideas”, and a place where academic discussions and co-creation on digital transformation topics can take place. CeDiT fills an important role in providing arenas for peer-to-peer collaboration between diciplines, contributing to off-setting the traditional silos present in academic institutions such as our own.

CeDiTs researchers are highly active in collaboration efforts spanning a wide variety of collaboration partners. CeDiT co funds the membership for the think tank GoForIT, a national organization gathering academia, private and public sector actors providing an arena in the intersection of sustainability and digitalization. The project portfolio for CeDiT researchers include many diverse stakeholders, e.g. research schools such as DIGIT, working with practioneers and public sector organizations. CeDiT has started and seeks to intensify collaboration with the Centre for Social Investment (CSI) at Heidelberg University, Germany. The aim is to develop innovative, interdisciplinary research on the intersection between social innovation and digital transformation.
