Benefits of using faceless illustrations
The illustrations cannot have mouths, noses and eyes. Eliminating facial features can make people appear more neutral, which can be beneficial when you want to convey information without emotional impact. It allows the focus to be more on the message itself or the action in the illustration.
Visual continuity
Illustrations provide a consistent and cohesive style throughout the webpage, which can be difficult to achieve with photographs that vary in style, lighting and colours. We therefore use all gradations of the main colour of UiA red.
