Criminals are exploiting the coronavirus situation
Cyber criminals are using this outbreak to defraud organisations through emails and text messages. An increase in this form of attacks is expected, and some will be custom-made attacks, made to look like they are sent from UiA or otherwise exploit knowledge about our organisation in order to look legitimate.

People’s fears and interest in coronavirus information might also be exploited. Fraudulent messages can appear to be sent from credible organisations like the Norwegian Institute of Public Health or WHO.

Follow the advice below and refresh your knowledge on how to spot fake emails. Forward suspicious emails to SPAM@uia.no.
