UiA's Buddy programme for new students

As a new international degree seeking student at the University of Agder in August, you will automatically become part of a buddy/fadder group.

Your buddy group will help you to:

  • get to know the campus
  • get to know the city
  • get to know other students 
  • give you insight and guidance into Norwegian society and culture

Unhappy with your buddy group?

We want you to have a great time the moment you meet your group and we will do everything to ensure that. 

So get in touch with us if:

  • you are unhappy with your buddy group
  • there is unwanted focus on alcohol in your buddy group
  • your buddy group is not functioning as it should
