Students from other institutions may apply to take their examination at the University of Agder. This can be granted with reservations, because changes can occur due to the infection situation.
Under certain circumstances, students who are not able to take an examination at the University of Agder (for example, because of student exchange) can apply to take the exam at another location.
External students who want to take their exam at UiA
Students from other institutions who would like to take their examinations at the University must pay the following fees:
application fee of NOK 500,- (must be paid even if the student does not take the exam)
handling fee of NOK 500,- (if the exam is completed) – a total of NOK 1000,- for each examination.
In addition the student must cover any invigilation costs, if there are no other exam scheduled at UIA on the day of the exam. Costs are as follows: NOK 200,- per examination hour, plus 1 hour before and 1 hour after the examination.
The above does not apply to incoming exchange students at UIA. No fee is charged for these students.
UiA students who want to take their exam somewhere else
UiA students who take examinations outside of UiA must pay a handling fee to the University.
In Norway: 700,- NOK
In Europe/the rest of the world: 1000,- NOK
Incoming exchange students at UiA who are legitimately absent from the ordinary examination are exempted from paying handling fees for later off-campus examinations.

Please note: If you apply to take a digital exam somewhere else, you will most likely have to take that exam using pen and paper. And if you have been granted some form of special examination arrangement, we may not be able to accommodate this if you choose to take the examination somewhere else.

Exchange students from UiA at universities abroad
Exchange students from UiA at universities abroad where exams take place in January, may apply to take their exams at UiA.
They will have to pay an administration fee of NOK 1000,- for each exam plus cover invigilation costs, if there are no other exams scheduled at UiA on the day of the exam.
Exchange students from UiA at universities abroad who have failed their exams or been legitimately absent from their exams, may apply to take their exams at UiA. No fee is charged for these students.
