Withdrawal from an examination before the examination day

Withdrawal from an examination must occur at least 14 days prior to each  examination. You withdraw on the Studentweb by choosing <Registrations / Registrations for classes and exams> and clicking on the red mark under the heading <Change?> behind the course you want to withdraw from. Even if the course consists of more than one examination, you should be able to withdraw from each individual exam through Studentweb.

If you are unable to withdraw through Studentweb, you must send us an e-mail (eksamen@uia.no) saying which course you want to withdraw from. 

NOTE: If you withdraw from the examination 14 days or more prior the exam day, you will not have access to a postponed examination. Instead, you will have to wait until the next time the course is offered before you can register for the exam. (You need to appear in the examination room and withdraw during the examination submitting a written withdrawal form in order to demand a postponed examination. This however, will count as one attempt, unlike withdrawal prior to the examination.)
