Preus had a 20 percent appointment at the Department of Popular Music where she was involved in the Songwriting programme. She arrived at UiA at the end of February 2017 and was a key contributor to the department, both among students and staff, and was pleased to be there. The plan was to increase her employment percentage from this semester, but cancer put an end to those plans.

The funeral will be held today at 12:00 at Uranienborg kirke, Oslo.

The flag will be hoisted to the peak an hour after the funeral.
