From 1 August, there will be some minor changes to how and where you can park in the area. Employee parking will not be affected. No changes will be implemented at Campus Grimstad.
This article is more than two years old, and may contain outdated information.
The biggest change is the location of the car park for tenants of Kunnskapsparken, which will now be the lower car park inside Spicheren, marked as P6 on the map.
The area in front of Kunnskapsparken, marked as P10, is now for guests or short-term parking. The price is 20 kroner per hour.
The area in front of Spicheren, marked as P11, previously for visitors of the training center, may now be used by everyone and the price has dropped from 30 to 20 kroner per hour. However, ongoing construction work in front of Spicheren will affect the number of parking spaces available.
The entire main parking lot by the flagpole, marked as P1 on the map, will now be considered as one parking zone. The price is 10 kroner for 14 hours. In the past, many people have been fined for parking in the upper zone, in the guest and short-term parking area. That issue has now been resolved.

At the top of P10, in front of Kunnskapsparken, there will be 12 charging points. Parking costs 20 kroner per hour plus the price of the kilowatts. Please keep in mind that there are many people who need to use the charging points, so only cars that are charging should park there. When you are done charging your vehicle, we recommend you park it in another area in the 10 kroner per hour range (P1, P2, P3 or P5).
The charging station on P3 will not suffer any changes and the same parking rules will apply: only cars that are charging should be parked there.
During the autumn, a parking app for employee parking will be introduced. Instead of checking laminated pieces of paper on the windshields, parking guards will be scanning license plates. The app is easy to use, and you will be able to register more than one vehicle in the system. More information will come when the app is introduced.
