Employees at UiA Hjelp and at the University Library are handling all books and other materials according to the government’s current guidelines for infection prevention.

Librarian help desk:

The librarian help desk in the library is closed.

Students and employees with questions regarding references, literature searching or source evaluation, are welcome to contact their subject librarian via booking or email. Please check the subject pages here.

Booking of digital guidance sessions:

You are wellcome to connect our booking system for short 10-minute digital guidance sessions. These sessions are for questions that you would otherwise have asked at our desk. You book the appointment yourself at your convenience and automatically get a link with access to an online meeting with a representative from the library in Teams in Office 365.

The session can be booked with the first vacant staff or with a specific employee at the university library.

Fee Amnesty in February

1st of January the library introduced fees for recalled books. Fee amnesty in January. As many students and employees are not yet on campus, we have extended the period of fee amnesty for books returned to the library.
