I have taught communication and media at UiA since the autumn of 2018, both on the bachelor's and master's programmes. I have a background in journalism and non-profit organisations. In the autumn of 2022, I started as a PhD scholar, doing research on NRK's children's news programme, Supernytt.
Research interests
I am currently working on my PhD project called "A critical analysis of NRK's Supernytt with an emphasis on the construction of images of reality". I am concerned with what these news broadcasts convey to children, and in what way they do it. I study this mainly through qualitative analysis of the broadcasts.
Alongside this, I am involved in a research project with Hans-Olav Hodøl and Roy Emanuelsen on Norwegian journalism and communication education.
