I have a MSc in biology from the University of Oslo and a postgraduate unit in philosophy from the same university. Later I achieved a postgraduate teacher training certificate at the University of Agder. I was a teacher in high school from 2002-2014 and taught the subjects of biology, science and mathematics. Since 2014, I have been working at the Department of Natural Sciences. I teach biology and science didactics in the teacher education programme, and write a PhD in science education.
