Hilde Elisabeth Timenes Mikkelsen

Hilde T. Mikkelsen is a PhD Research Fellow at the Department of Health and Nursing Sciences. Her research focus is on Quality of life and pain in adolescents and their parents. Her research is connected to the project Start Young.

Hilde was educated nurse in 2008. Her clinical work experience is mainly from palliative cancer care. She has a master's degree in Health Sciences from the University of Agder (2013) with "Palliative cancer patients' experiences of participating in lifestyle interventions during cancer treatment" as her main theme.

Hilde was employed as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Health and Sports Sciences in 2015 and teaches within the bachelor's Program in Nursing. Since 2018, she has worked 25% as an Assistant Professor at the bachelor's Program in Nursing while being a PhD Research Fellow.
