Each year University of Agder welcomes many visitors from all around the World. If you wish to visit our university as a guest researcher, visiting professors and administrative personnel, take a look at the information below.
If you already have a contact person at the University of Agder, you can find all the necessary contact information in the section "Find staff at UiA", otherwise, please contact Dmytro Yakovenko (dmytroy (at) uia.no, +47 40 04 84 67), Head of International Affairs Unit, who will assist you with the necessary preparations (program of stay, practical issues etc).
Please be advised, that in order to be eligible for the Erasmus+ staff mobility scholarship from your home institution, you will need an Erasmus+ Mobility Agreement signed by all the Parties before the mobility. The templates for the Agreements are provided below:
Global lounge offers free guided tours of the university for visitors. You can arrange meeting point and departure time for the tour with the employees of the Global lounge. The tours include a guided tour of selected buildings at the university and, on a special request, at Agder Natural History Museum and Botanical Garden.
A typical tour takes one hour, but we can make it shorter or longer depending on what our guests would like to see. The tours are conducted by our trainees at Global lounge with general knowledge of the history of Campus Kristiansand, as well as its architecture, art works and study life.

Kristiansand is the capital of southern Norway and the 5th largest city in the country (almost 90 000 inhabitants). The region is renowned for its beautiful skerries and excellent climate. Grimstad is located approximately 45 km from Kristiansand and is a center of a municipality with the same name (22 600 inhabitants). It is an important trade, service and education center.
