What does digitalisation of teaching and learning look like in Nordic higher education in 2021? How are universities responding to the pandemic, and what Nordic characteristics can we trace in the ongoing digital transformation of practices?

In this 2-hour-webinar on January 25, scholars from Denmark, Norway and Sweden doing cutting-edge research on digitalisation of teaching and learning in Nordic higher education will debate current practices and future prospects, exploring the impact of Covid-19 and with an eye to the long-term implications of the rapid changes we have experienced in the past few months.

The event also marks the launch of the recently published special issue “Digital transformations with ‘Nordic characteristics’? Latest trends in the digitalisation of teaching and learning in Nordic higher education”, published by the Nordic Journal of Digital Literacy in December 2020. This is the first interdisciplinary CeDiT publication, a collaboration between associate Professor Vito Laterza (Department of Global Development and Planning), professor Cathrine Edelhard Tømte (Department of Information Systems) and Professor Rómulo M. Pinheiro (Department of Political Science).
